Need an estimate on a new A/C system? Here's what to expect from our company. Our estimator
will:

  • Perform a Manual J load calculation on your home.  The Manual J is a  report that
summarizes the heating and cooling 'load'  required to properly condition the air in your
home.  This report is  certified by Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA
standards). The Manual J  is an important step for the following reasons:  Changes made
to the building structure subsequent to the design and construction phase, advances in
technology, and/or updated building code requirements can alter the size (tonnage) of the
heating & air conditioning system requirements.  A cause and effect example:  An
undersized heating & air conditioning system will be ineffective at maintaining comfort
levels; an oversized system will cost more to operate and may be ineffective at removing
    humidity from the home.
  • Check your current breaker panel for sufficient power supply.  Depending on the age of
your home sometimes an electrical upgrade is needed to adequately supply power to your
new system (example: historical, refurbished homes).
  • Measure the dimensional area of your current heating & cooling system  to determine
which systems (brands & models) are available for installation. This becomes critical in
    tight spaces.
  • Inspect your duct system and measure the main trunks to ensure proper airflow for the
new heating & cooling system. Your home heating and air conditioning "system" is
comprised of both the equipment and ductwork. Most homes have the correct size air
conditioner, but some have undersized ductwork. For example, installing 4-ton equipment
in a home that only has 3-ton ductwork means you are paying the utility bill for an
ineffective 4-ton system but only receiving partial benefits of a 3-ton system. Additionally,
if your system (equipment and ductwork) is not sized correctly, the life-span of the
    equipment may be significantly reduced.
  • Inspect the building envelope; insulation levels, weather stripping, window and door
types. If you're interested, we can offer useful tips on how to make your home more
    energy efficient.

Equipment Options:

  • We install mostly Carrier and Trane systems for the following reasons:  Reliability, cutting
edge technology, and proven track record of brand performance in Florida's climate.
Other brands are available such as Goodman, Fujitsu, and Payne. Just let us know if you
have a particular brand that you're interested in.
  • Efficiency Ratings: SEER, EER, HSPF, AFUE.  These ratings measure the efficiency of your
heating and cooling system.  They have a direct impact on your utility bill, and the cost of
your new system. The higher the efficiency rating, the lower the utility bill.  The utility
savings can help offset the initial cost of your new system and will leave a smaller carbon
    footprint.
  • We offer systems that qualify for Federal Tax Credits and Utility company rebates.

Installation:

  • We take great care to follow the latest installation techniques that meet or exceed all
building code requirements. We employ NATE certified installers who utilize the most
effective and efficient installation techniques known to our industry.
  • We pull permits.  This means that the work performed is completed according to local and
state building codes, and is inspected by the local building department.
  • After your new system is installed, we will properly dispose of the old equipment and
clean the work site.  We will also explain how to operate and maintain your new heating
and air conditioning system in detail.

Peace of Mind:

  • We guarantee our workmanship.  Our warranties include both parts and labor.  Extended
    warranties are available.
  • We are fully insured for your protection.
  • We offer 24 hour emergency service and extended regular hours with no overtime. From
routine maintenance to Indoor Air Quality accessories, we will be there for you when you
    need us.
